GDC SX-3000
Description
The SX-3000 Standalone Integrated Media Block™ (“SX-3000 Standalone IMB®”) comes with Portable Storage, a cost effective, reliable and scalable external storage solution. Portable Storage is a compact and lightweight device that can be easily mounted on all types of DLP Cinema® projectors and features up to 3TB of redundant hot swappable storage.
Lower Maintenance Costs
The SX-3000 IMB eliminates the need for an external file server. It seamlessly integrates with all DLP Cinema® projectors and comes with SMS software for playback control and content management.
Lower Operation Costs
The SX-3000 IMB allows long distance content streaming and remote access via gigabit Ethernet connection. Also automation can be controlled via Ethernet cable which makes SX-3000 IMB with Portable Storage suitable for boothless design.
High Frame Rate and All Image Resolution Support
The SX-3000 IMB supports high frame rate content in 2D and 3D (50 & 60fps per eye) and all image resolution including SD, HD, 2K and 4K (optional).
Comprehensive Support for Alternative Content
The SX-3000 IMB supports HDMI input, 3G-SDI input and network live streaming* (optional). It also supports image scaling to 2K.
Live 3D Support* (Optional)
The SX-3000 IMB comes integrated with 3D Demuxing (side-by-side) which makes receiving high-quality 3D broadcasts possible. It also provides a built-in integrated 3D decoder to seamlessly support 3D Live broadcast without requiring additional decoder.
Up to 3TB Storage†
The Portable Storage is scalable with different options. It can support up to 3TB of redundant hot swappable storage, which can store approximately 30 movies (i.e. 100GB per movie).
High Reliability
The Portable Storage comes with 3 or 4 hot swappable data drives† and is based on enterprise hardware RAID 5 technology allowing it to remain operational in the event of a single drive failure, thereby minimizing downtime.
High Flexibility
The Portable Storage comes with hot swappable data drives that can easily be attached or detached, making it possible to quickly switch content from one screen to another.
Easy Installation
The Portable Storage is a very compact and light external storage device which can be easily mounted on projectors, making it suitable for boothless cinema design.
