Cine Magaly is once again at the forefront of cinema technology with their newest acquisition of Barco laser technology.
Located in the barrio La California district of San Jose, Costa Rica, Cine Magaly is independently operated. It is a large cinema, giving the ‘old time cinema experience’ with over 1,000 seats, and t shey are located on orchestra and two balcony levels. The Cine Magaly screens independent movies, art films, movies of note from around the world, and is host to film festivals.
Cine Magaly’s latest acquisition, a Barco SP4K-15 projector, is the first Series 4 laser projector installed in the region, delivering the most stunning and vivid colors in the industry. Through Barco’s patented AIM (Active Image Management) technology, these native 4k projectors provide maximum energy efficiency, enhanced uniformity, and consistent image quality every time.
