Dolby has requested that we share the following important information, which may significantly affect your ability to play encrypted content on your DCP2000, DCP2K4, Doremi IMB, Doremi  IMS1000, or Dolby IMS2000 servers. These servers come with a media block that contains a secure certificate, which is set to expire later this year. Please note that these units must have their certificates extended by November 2025. The servers must be updated before the certificates expire; otherwise, they will permanently stop functioning and cannot be restored to operation. For the Dolby IMS3000, please be aware that Software v3.5.20 will be required by December 31, 2025.

• How to check whether your server needs updating: What Is Certificate Extension?
• Link to Dolby Knowledge Article and upgrade procedures: Certificate Extension – KB

Note: Don’t update media block certificates on ShowVault/IMB-SA with Sony projector systems. The Sony SRX-R320 doesn’t support the updated certificates, so updating will lead to a marriage failure.

Please pay close attention to this notice and contact Dolby with any questions.
