Since its second edition in 2015, Expocine has established as the largest event in Latin America and second largest event in the world in terms of number of participants. In 2016, it received more than 3 thousand attendees.
This year, EXPOCINE will be held on September 27th, 28th and 29th and will offer lectures and panel discussions with renowned professionals in the industry; exclusive presentations from film studios and distributors; press conferences; a market with more than 70 stands and many new features for the whole industry.
AN X-RAY OF THE MARKET
The Latin American film market is one of the fastest growing markets in the world. Brazil alone has jumped from 1,500 movie theaters to more than 3,000 in just 10 years. Territories such as Argentina, the Caribbean, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico and Peru have not only grown in number of movie theaters but also in quantity of tickets sold.
In addition, it is one of the world’s busiest markets with at least 20 film circuits of regional influence, being also the current route of world premieres, counting with big Hollywood names in exclusive film openings, sometimes even before the US.
